Snowboxx

Working on Snowboxx Festival has been one of the most demanding and rewarding projects we’ve undertaken. Originally brought in to support the creative delivery alongside RWS Live, our role has evolved over the years into a direct collaboration with the festival itself, continuing to develop scenic environments and large-scale stage builds across the site.

  • As the collaboration has grown, so has the scale and ambition of the work. Alongside festival production, we’ve also partnered with sponsors, including Jubel and Jägermeister, helping bring their brand visions to life within the unique environment of the Alps.

From a logistics and installation perspective, Snowboxx is easily one of the toughest environments we work in. Installing scenic structures directly onto snow and ice comes with constant challenges, including digging through frozen ground to secure truss systems, navigating mountainous terrain, and adapting to weather that can shift from bright sunshine to blizzard conditions within minutes.

Despite the environment, the goal remains the same every year: to create durable, high-impact builds that transform the mountains into a fully immersive festival experience. From large-scale stage scenery through to branded activation spaces and site-wide decor, the Alps become completely reimagined for five days of music, energy and escapism.
