santa’s secret forest

Some projects arrive through a pitch process. Others grow out of years of working alongside the same people, solving problems together on site, understanding how each other thinks, and building trust over time.

  • Our relationship with Jay and the team behind Santa’s Secret Forest started long before the event itself. Having worked together on multiple projects in the live events industry, with UK Events delivering large-scale staging and infrastructure while we focused on scenic and creative installations, we already had a strong understanding of processes, standards, and ambition on both sides.

That existing relationship became the foundation for what would grow into one of the most involved and collaborative projects we’ve taken on to date.

From the earliest concepts through to final installation, Santa’s Secret Forest became a constant creative dialogue. Ideas evolved daily. Designs were refined, rebuilt and reimagined as the world developed. Rather than approaching the project as a straightforward fabrication job, the process became a genuinely collaborative building journey that balanced storytelling, atmosphere, practicality, and a large-scale visitor experience.

Working across concept development, scenic design, fabrication and installation, we helped shape the visual identity of the experience from the ground up. Every environment was designed to feel immersive, layered and cinematic, with handcrafted details and textured finishes helping transform temporary structures into spaces that felt believable and emotionally engaging.

The scale of the project, combined with the pace of creative development, made it one of the longest continuous design-and-build processes we’ve worked through as a studio. It demanded flexibility, trust, and a great deal of collaborative problem-solving at every stage of production.

What emerged was far more than a seasonal attraction. Santa’s Secret Forest became a fully realised world, built through months of shared ideas, experimentation and an enormous amount of hands-on craftsmanship.
